On-Site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services<\/span><\/h2>

To cater to the diverse learning needs of children, our school collaborates with Caritas\u00a0On-site Pre-school Rehabilitation Services.\u00a0The rehabilitation service provides comprehensive and timely support for preschool children with varying degrees of special needs through a cross-disciplinary service team and a school-based integrated model. The cross-disciplinary service team, consisting of occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech therapists, clinical\/educational psychologists, social workers, and special needs educators, offers on-site training and support services to students enrolled in our school. Additionally, the team provides support services for teachers\/educators and parents\/caregivers. If necessary, our school will also offer professional advice to parents and refer them to professional assessment services.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

On-Site Social Worker Services<\/strong><\/p>

Our school collaborates with the The Church of United Brethren in Christ Social Service Division to provide on-site social worker services for our students and their parents.<\/p>

  • Emotional and Social Support:<\/strong> Through individual counseling and peer groups, we help students develop positive emotional management and interpersonal skills.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    • Parenting Education:<\/strong> We provide parenting skills workshops and seminars to help parents master positive discipline methods and improve parent-child communication.<\/p><\/li>

      To help new preschoolers smoothly adjust to school life, our school has specially designed a “Gradual Adaptation Program.” This program aims to alleviate separation anxiety and establish a sense of security and belonging through a step-by-step approach.<\/p>

      Emotional Support Measures<\/strong><\/p>

      • Parent Accompaniment Period:<\/strong> Parents are allowed to wait outside the classroom initially, helping children feel that their parents are nearby, which enhances their sense of security.<\/p><\/li>

      • Familiar Objects for Comfort:<\/strong> Children are encouraged to bring small toys or comfort items from home to ease their anxiety.<\/p><\/li>

      • Buddy Matching:<\/strong> Older or well-adjusted students are assigned as “Angels” to assist newcomers in integrating into group activities.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

        Through games, music, storytime, and other relaxed activities, we engage children and redirect their attention away from separation.<\/p>
